For many adults who identify as Autistic and/or ADHD, including those exploring a diagnosis, anxiety is often woven into daily life - rooted in sensory overwhelm and years of coping with change & challenging environments, masking and frequently exceeding capacity. 

 

Traditional therapy tools can feel invalidating or ineffective, especially if they don’t consider the source of anxiety and the ways in which your nervous system has protected you and is trying to keep you safe. 

Yourstory understands your anxiety often makes sense. In a flexible, Neuro-Affirming and compassionate space, your lived experiences are validated and your individual needs are supported from the very beginning.

Together, we’ll work in ways that feel safe and sustainable for you, helping you manage your overwhelm and reflecting on possibilities for change. The work is not to “fix” anxiety, but to increase self understanding, safety and support.
